Chiropractic Economics Staff January 22, 2018

January 22, 2018—The New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame inducted its sixth class of inductees on Dec. 1, 2017. Among the inductees was Lyndhurst, NJ sports chiropractor, Robert Haley, DC.

Robert J. Haley has been providing sports injury and performance care to combat athletes for more than 20 years. As a chiropractic sports physician, Haley was the medical coordinator for the Grapplers Quest Submission Grappling and Jiu Jitsu tournaments since its beginning in 1999.

In 2003, Haley was selected as the head chiropractor for the FILA World Freestyle wrestling championships held at Madison Square Garden. He also served at many national and local combat sport events including the Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu Open, Abu Dhabi Pro US Jiu Jitsu trials and ADCC Submission Fighting Championship- North American Trials.

Earning a reputation for his positive work with fighters, Haley’s office became a go to place for many top MMA athletes seeking help. For years, Haley was a regular contributor to “Train Hard, Fight Easy” and “Train” magazines helping athletes learn how to deal with injuries.
