RheeGen founder releases new book on the future of regenerative medicine

Chiropractic Economics Staff August 29, 2025

The Future of Regenerative Medicine

A new book by Thomas Rhee, DC, “The Future of Regenerative Medicine: Unlocking the Potential of Topical Stem Cell Therapy,” explores how advances in regenerative medicine are moving treatments beyond injections to powerful yet safe and noninvasive topical therapies.

In the book, Rhee explains the science behind topical stem cell applications for muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage. He also examines how these approaches are revolutionizing recovery for athletes, medical professionals and patients seeking effective alternatives to invasive procedures requiring surgery or needles.

Alongside clinical science, the book includes case examples and real patient stories that illustrate the life-changing impact of regenerative therapies. Readers will find chapters on the evolution of stem cell therapy, how topical treatments work at the cellular level and what these developments could mean for the future of pain relief, recovery and performance. Rhee also shares his personal journey in regenerative medicine and how it has influenced his approach to patient care.

He has treated elite athletes across multiple sports, including Olympians and professional players in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, LPGA and more.
