Reminder: Register for EHR incentive program

Chiropractic Economics Staff June 22, 2012

June 22, 2012 — This is the last year for Medicare-eligible professionals (EPs) to start participating in the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) incentive programs and receive full Medicare incentive payments. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recommends that all EPs register as early as possible. By registering early, you verify that your information is up-to-date in the CMS system, and you resolve any outstanding issues.

If you do not resolve registration problems in time, you will not be eligible to attest, and run the risk of missing out on a payment year. Registration does not mean you are required to participate–so register today. For more information on the EHR Incentive Program, visit www.acatoday.org/EHR. To register visit the CMS registration page.
