President Zeigler announces organizational changes

Chiropractic Economics October 12, 2010

October 12, 2010 — Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern Health Sciences University, addressed staff and faculty yesterday revealing a new organizational structure and changes to the university administrative team. “This is an important stage for the university,” noted Dr. Zeigler.

He announced that recruiting will begin immediately for a new position, vice president for administration. This position will oversee budget, cash management, capital outlay, facilities management and university grounds, university bookstore, information technology, human resources, and strategic planning and the development of the university scorecard.

The vice president of administration will be supported by a new assistant vice president for strategy, who will have strong quantitative and analytical abilities. The admissions and financial aid/registrar departments will report to the associate vice president and dean of students.

Jim McDonald will assume a new position of executive vice president. He will continue to oversee our external financial responsibilities, especially our open upright MRI with the Center for Diagnostic Imaging. He will also assist in community relations and alumni development and fundraising. He has invaluable talent and experience that will continue to serve the university well in this new capacity.
