PerformTex Tape releases new 3 spray system

Chiropractic Economics April 15, 2012

April 15, 2012 — PerformTex Products, LLC, the makers of the patented, twin grooved, adhesive technology line of kinesiology tapes recently announced a kinesiology tape specific three step spray system.

PerformTex PerformPrep Skin Cleaner is marketed as the only skin prep spray designed for the use with kinesiology tape. It’s designed to gently clean the area of oils, dirt, sweat, and residue, in order to prepare the skin for improved adhesion of kinesiology tape applications. It won’t dry the skin like alcohol swabs, as it lays down a gentle barrier of moisture making for a much more comfortable and lasting tape application.

PerformTex PerformStik Tape Adherent is marketed as the only tape adherent designed specifically as a pre-tape spray for elastic therapeutic tape. When it is applied to the skin it creates an elastic or “moving” tacky surface to help greatly improve tape adherence without affecting the properties and effects of kinesiology tape.

It’s highly recommended for use within athletics, contact sports, heavy perspiration, moist areas, pool use, and high humidity locations. It is not recommended for pediatric or geriatric populations

PerformTex PerformLift Adhesive Remover is marketed as the only adhesive remover designed specifically for the use with kinesiology tape. It helps remove the adhesive qualities and residue left behind from sprays or tape and gently lubricates and repairs the skin after tape application. It is highly recommended for tape removal on sensitive or fragile skin.
