January 26, 2010 — Kent Greenawalt, president of Foot Levelers, was honored with the Philanthropy Award during Parker Seminars Las Vegas, Jan. 14-17. Greenawalt was recognized for his consistent support of Parker Seminars and Parker College in the mission to spread chiropractic wellness worldwide.
Greenawalt and his family have contributed to the advancement of the chiropractic profession for years. In 1952, Foot Levelers developed custom-measure and custom-foot supports to help prevent subluxations. The discovery in the relationship between foot posture and subluxations forever changed chiropractic.
Each year during the Las Vegas Parker Seminar, Performance Health representing Biofreeze, Thera-Band, and Prossage honors an individual whose affinity for helping humanity has made a difference in the world and on the chiropractic profession.
This year, the 2010 Biofreeze Humanitarian of the Year Award went to three individuals who spearheaded and managed the chiropractic humanitarian effort following the earthquake in Aquila, Italy. Dr. Dana Mackison presented the award to Dr. Jennifer Lovern, Dr. Daniel Rigel, and Dr. Eduardo Aguilar.
In addition, Performance Health Bio Freeze also presented a check on behalf of Dr. Lovern, Dr. Rigel, and Dr. Aguilar to the Association of Italian Chiropractors.
