Parker Seminars hosts largest chiropractic seminar in the world

Chiropractic Economics January 21, 2011

January 21, 2011 — Parker Seminars held 2011 Parker Seminars Las Vegas — the largest gathering of chiropractic professionals in the world on Jan. 13-15.

More than 3,500 doctors of chiropractic and chiropractic assistants attended to learn innovative chiropractic technique and business practices. Nearly 365 exhibitors also participated in the seminar by displaying the latest industry products and technologies.

Some of the biggest names in chiropractic provided tips on health, wellness, patient communication, marketing, philosophy, and more. Keynote speakers included Drs. Simon and Jennifer Floreani, Dr. Patrick Gentempo, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College and Parker Seminars, Dr. Gilles Lamarche, vice president of Parker Seminars, and Dr. Wayne Dyer, an internationally renowned author and speaker in the field of self-development. Dr. Dyer is called the “father of motivation” by his fans.

Additional keynote speakers included Dr. James Chesnut, Dr. Michael Hall, Brandi MacDonald, Heidi Farrell, and many more.

The seminar hit another high note when for the second year in a row, Jerry Rice attended. Rice posed for photos and signed autographs. He has credited chiropractic care for providing him the longevity and durability to succeed on the field during his football career. “I did a lot of things to stay in the game, but regular visits to my chiropractor were among the most important,” said Rice.

Rice was twice named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year, won three Super Bowls, and still holds nearly every record as a receiver.  He retired as the league’s career receiving leader and has been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. He remains a spokesperson for the Foundation for Chiropractic progress (F4CP).

The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders have also joined the F4CP in sharing their positive experiences with chiropractic. Three representatives from the squad appeared during the seminar to voice their experiences with chiropractic and explain how it improves their mobility and prevents injuries.

In addition to the speaker sessions, special events, and exhibitor hall, attendees also enjoyed The Third Annual Parker Gala, which was held to raise proceeds for chiropractic research. The gala featured honorary host, Nick Vujicic, president of an international nonprofit organization, Life Without Limbs. He also has his own motivational speaking company, Attitude is Altitude. During the gala, he shared his inspirational story about being born without arms and legs and how he overcame it.

Parker Seminars will celebrate its 60 years of excellence during Parker Seminars Orlando April 7-9.
