Hosted by: Parker
Seminars
Location: Las
Vegas, Nevada
Time of Year: February
Length of Event: 3
days (Thursday through Saturday)
Attendance
Information: Approximately 3,200 people attend Parker Las Vegas, many of
whom are either doctors of chiropractic (DCs) or chiropractic assistants (CAs).
However, students of chiropractic and office staff can attend as well.
Event pricing is based on the attendee’s industry status.
For instance, students pay the lowest rate, followed by CAs, and then DCs. Bulk
pricing is also available if you’d like your entire office to attend.
Types of Topics Covered: Parker Las Vegas attendees have the opportunity to learn more about the latest advances in musculoskeletal health and chiropractic technique from dozens of experts in the chiropractic field.
This event also provides practice-related information as
well. For instance, some sessions offer advice about how to create a more
successful and profitable practice, how to improve office operations, marketing
tips, or ways to hire and manage the best office staff.
Other topics covered at Parker Las Vegas are designed to help attendees overcome some of the most common stumbling blocks professionals tend to face when growing personally and professionally. This includes learning more about how to develop a successful mindset, how to offer a higher level of patient care, and various ways to increase patient retention.
Past Speakers: In
years past, many of Parker Las Vegas’s speakers have been DCs who are experts
in areas related to functional fitness, sports chiropractic, the science of
chiropractic, and more.
Some of the speakers are healthcare experts in other
specialties or those with a high level of business experience. These types of
professionals who have spoken at prior Parker Las Vegas events have included:
- Joe Mercola, DO
- Stuart McGill, PhD
- Rich Froning Jr., professional CrossFit athlete
- Larry Winget, motivational speaker and
bestselling author - Danica Patrick, former NASCAR driver, fitness
author, and founder of the clothing line, Warrior by Danica Patrick
CE Availability: DCs
and CAs can both earn continuing education (CE) credits by attending Parker Las
Vegas. Parker University provides these CE credits, which are generally
somewhere around 15 hours.
Though, it is up to each individual attendee’s state board
to determine whether these hours are accepted based on that specific agency’s
requirements and credit approval process. Additionally, attendance at classes
offering credit is strictly monitored to ensure that all of the necessary
qualifications for credit are met.
Vendors: There
are more than 200 booths available to visit at Parker Las Vegas, with plenty of
breaks throughout the three days to give attendees time to check out the ones
that interest them most.
Among the list of vendors attending include companies that
provide products and services related to improving health and wellness, office
equipment and software programs, education and training, and more.
Additional
Information: During Parker Las Vegas, alumni of Parker University are
provided a lounge where they can either relax or network with other Parker
alumni. Relaxation stations complete with chair massages are provided for all
attendees as well.
