OUM’s Wellness Works Program Awards Two Scholarships

Chiropractic Economics May 13, 2008

The OUM Chiropractor Program, a nationally recognized leader in the chiropractic malpractice insurance industry, recently awarded two Wellness Works Scholarships to chiropractic students in the United States.  The scholarship funds were raised through the generous financial support of Chiropractic Economics, Chiropractic Products, Dynamic Chiropractic and Today’s Chiropractic Lifestyle, four prominent companies dedicated to the advancement of the chiropractic profession.  These scholarships were awarded to Rooza Goharchin and Brian Vranes for their exceptional essays that can be viewed by logging onto www.oumchiropractor.com.

Rooza Goharchin decided to pursue chiropractic as a profession when she realized how chiropractic changed her life by strengthening and restoring her health.  She desires to use her understanding of the healing art to motivate people to experience chiropractic and educate people about wellness care and natural healthcare.  After she graduates from Cleveland Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in August 2008, Goharchin plans to practice in Pasadena, Calif.

Brian Vranes, a native of Soda Springs, Idaho, experienced healing of several athletic injuries through the power of chiropractic.  With the positive influence of his chiropractor he began to appreciate the innate power of the body to heal itself and this appreciation spurred him into pursuing chiropractic as a profession.  Upon receiving his chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2008, Vranes plans to move to northern Utah to open a family practice focusing on sports injury rehabilitation.
