ONE Conference to integrate chiropractic, acupuncture and massage

Chiropractic Economics Staff February 16, 2012

February 16, 2012 — ONE Concept recently announced that for the first time the American Massage Conference, American Chiropractic Conference, and American Acupuncture Conference will be held in conjunction with one another at the Town and Country Resort & Conference Center in San Diego, April 20-22, 2012.

More than 100 hours of continuing education are available at the conference. Of these, many will be one-hour courses included in a single $40 fee per attendee that also includes trade show access.

This cross profession and colleague-based format was chosen because many practitioners in these three professions are currently working alongside one another to improve patient outcomes through the application of complementary and alternative healthcare. The event organizers believe this event can encourage and inspire increased collaboration, referral, and support.

“Each of these professions supports the health and wellness of their clients in very specific and distinct ways,” said Scott Dartnall, co-founder of ONE Concept. “We hope to take that support a step further by providing an environment, which allows each profession an opportunity to understand each other and work together to support the physical health of their clients, and the financial health of their respective practices.”

Many of the free ONE-hour courses are being taught by industry leading educators like Benny Vaughn, Tina Allen, Dr. Richard S. Cheung, Dr. Jeffrey Tucker, James Waslaski, Whitney Lowe, Dr. Richard Tan, Michael Gaeta, Erik Dalton, Meagan Holub, Angie Dubis, David Kent, Dr. Scott D. Banks, and many more elite educators from all three professions.

Make-A-Wish Foundation San Diego chapter will benefit from the pre-conference ONE Concept Charity Golf Invitational held at the Riverwalk Golf Club Thursday, April 19. The proceeds to help Grant A Wish to ONE area Wish child who has already been selected.

A $150 donation is being collected from each participating golfer who will in turn receive one round of golf, golf cart, continental breakfast, and a BBQ lunch. A silent auction and raffle will be held immediately after the tournament with the Make-A-Wish recipient and their family.

“We have several new opportunities and experiences this year,” said Monica Pasinato-Forchielli, co-founder of ONE Concept. “The great attendance and reception we received for the now world famous networking events have ensured their continuance. The Facebook meet and greet is always a must attend event, the ONE Concept Gala and Awards Ceremony will be out of this world!”

For more information and to register for this event, call 877-674-3504 or visit one of the three conference websites: americanchiropracticconference.com, americanacupunctureconference.com, americanmassageconference.com.
