July 10, 2008 — National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Illinois, recently honored 11 students who, through academic and personal excellence, won scholarship awards.
University President James Winterstein personally commended each of the following students at the ceremony: Alexis Bergan-Guzman, Adam Bruene, Ashley Burkman, Ron Hernandez, Andrea Hingst, Mark Hoover, Carissa Jaecks, Margarita Melikian, Joe Orneles, Cara VanWormer, and Terry Webb.
“We set high standards for our chiropractic, naturopathic, and oriental medicine students,” said Winterstein. “These students receiving scholarships are among the best of the best.”
