NOW Foods named one of the ‘Best & Brightest Companies to Work For’

Chiropractic Economics January 2, 2015

0102_Now_Foods_Best_and_BrightestJanuary 2, 2015 — NOW Foods has been named one of the Best & Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR) for the second consecutive year.

“Nationally recognized award recipients keep innovative human resource initiatives at the forefront of their company culture and make it a priority to consider their workforce as an essential aspect in their company success,” Jennifer Kluge, NABR president, said. “Our association is proud to recognize and honor these winning companies for this impressive achievement.”

In June, NOW was honored for the seventh year in a row as one of the best companies in the Chicago area for demonstrating an exceptional commitment to its employees, as reported by those employees, and exemplifying the best human resource practices.

“It’s inspiring, every day, to be part of this team at NOW Foods and experience their collective commitment to making our products the best they can be,” NOW Health Group CEO Jim Emme said. “NOW is made up of a team of dedicated employees who are committed to our mission: to make great products that help people lead healthier lives. We are honored to be recognized for how special that is.”

Founded by Elwood Richard in 1968 on the belief that natural is better, NOW Foods provides customers with a comprehensive approach to wellness by offering more than 1,400 natural dietary supplements, foods, sports nutrition, and personal care products. The company is committed to offering safe, affordable, high-quality products and is an advocate in the natural products industry.

NOW’s manufacturing facility in Bloomingdale, Illinois, has been GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)-certified since 2000. The company has over 1,000 employees, and its products are sold in more than 80 countries. After 46 years in the natural products industry, NOW remains committed to its original mission—to provide value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives.
