Nordic Naturals introduces Arctic Omega Fortify

Chiropractic Economics October 30, 2011

1640October 30, 2011 — Worried that omega-3 enriched foods are not delivering adequate levels of important omega-3 essential fatty acids? Now foods can easily be fortified with Nordic Naturals new Arctic Omega Fortify, a food and water-soluble omega powder with zero hint of fish.

This formula can be used as a soluble drink mix or a topping on virtually any food. Each single-serving stick pack contains 500 mg of EPA+DHA and is a nice addition to meals, snacks, and drinks.

Available in seven or 30 count boxes, Arctic Omega Fortify contains micro-encapsulated cod liver oil in powder form, an important source of omega-3 nutrition that supports the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response, along with critical support for a healthy heart, joints, and immune function. A convenient alternative to soft gels and liquids, simply pour, mix and enjoy within 15 minutes of preparation.

According to Keri Marshall, MS, ND, Nordic Naturals chief medical officer, “As professionals, we often see our patients not getting adequate amounts or the proper balance of EPA and DHA in their diet through food, supplementation, or in the store-bought enriched foods they consume. This new delivery system adds convenience and ease especially for those not wanting soft gels or liquid oils. Added to yogurt, dressings, juice, applesauce — anything that is not too hot — Arctic Omega Fortify allows patients to fortify their favorite foods without changing taste or texture.”
