New journal launched: Topics in Integrative Health Care

Chiropractic Economics November 5, 2010

November 5, 2010 — Topics in Integrative Health Care (TIHC), a new peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly journal is now available online at www.tihcij.com.

TIHC is dedicated to advancing the integration of multiple disciplines, both complementary and mainstream, into diverse healthcare settings in order to provide optimal patient care.

The journal focuses on the integration of various approaches and settings for the treatment of conditions and the integration of health promotion and prevention into all clinical encounters, as well as into both patients’ and providers’ daily lives.

TIHC presents themed issues on topics of relevance to healthcare providers interested in integrative, conservative care, health promotion and disease prevention.

It includes international, interdisciplinary Grand Rounds in order to facilitate communication and patient co-management among various health professions.

Consider submitting to TIHC. All submissions are peer-reviewed, and there are no costs to the authors for publication. The first volume (2010-2011) will focus on:

• Winter 2010:  Improving the health of older adults
• Spring 2011:  Physical activity and sports/leisure
• Summer 2011:  Approaches to body-mind health and healing

For more information and instructions for authors, go to www.tihcij.com.
