The Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS) awarded NCMIC its Champion of Chiropractic award as part of its 2021 Annual Conference held virtually Saturday, April 17, 2021. The award recognizes NCMIC’s decades of service to the chiropractic profession, providing malpractice insurance and other financial products to chiropractors since 1946.
“We are honored to be recognized by the ICS for our commitment to chiropractors and the chiropractic profession in Iowa,” says NCMIC CEO Mike McCoy. “As we celebrate 75 years serving our policyholders, our community and our employees, recognition like this serves as a valuable reminder that the work we do is important. We are proud to be supporting our own in whatever way we can.”
The ICS is the only trade organization in Iowa that is “for doctors by doctors of chiropractic” working to advance and protect the profession. ICS offers continuing chiropractic education curriculum to support the member licensure requirements at its annual conference. This year’s event, while virtual, included a line-up of experienced speakers and a curriculum to assist chiropractors in the growth of their practice.
“Our partnership has been extremely valuable for our members and we wanted to recognize all that NCMIC has done to support the profession and the ICS over the years,” said Kelli Todd, chief executive officer of the ICS. “We value our relationship and look forward to what we can do together for years to come.”
