NCMIC has appointed David Siebert as its new CEO, effective June 5; he succeeds Mike McCoy, who is retiring after eight years of service.
“We are thrilled to welcome David as our next CEO,” said Wayne Wolfson, DC, NCMIC’s president, in a press release. “He will continue to grow NCMIC in strategic ways that will serve our ‘We Take Care of Our Own’ philosophy for our policyholders, employees and community.”

Siebert’s background
Siebert joined NCMIC in 1995 as a claims representative and has grown along with the company, serving as a litigation consultant, senior director, assistant vice president and senior vice president. He was named president of NCMIC Insurance Company in 2020, a role in which he helped the company grow to have a record number of policyholders and led multiple strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining NCMIC, Siebert spent two years in claims at Crawford & Company, where he worked with self-insured risks.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he and his family reside in Urbandale, Iowa. Siebert is an active community leader, serving as president-elect on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa, and has held leadership roles in several other civic and industry organizations.
As NCMIC’s CEO, Siebert will oversee all operations and strategic initiatives across the enterprise, ensuring NCMIC’s continued commitment to supporting doctors of chiropractic, naturopathic doctors and other healthcare professionals with specialized insurance and financial products.
