National Chiropractic Health Month has arrived

Chiropractic Economics October 8, 2011

October 8, 2011 — With National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) underway, ACA is asking members to help generate awareness this October by alerting their patients, the media and their local communities about this year’s theme: “Discover Chiropractic: Get TechnoHealthy!”

The campaign examines the problem of injuries caused by overuse of modern technology and provides information on how to prevent pain and strain while using smart phones, computers and other gadgets. ACA encourages members and DCs to direct patients to www.technohealthy.com for informative tips and videos. ACA members should visit www.acatoday.org/nchm for a variety of NCHM promotional resources including:

  • ACA Healthy Living fact sheets
  • Sample Facebook posts and tweets
  • A sample news release to the media
  • Official NCHM promotional wrist bands for patients (available for sale)
  • A free webinar on the “ABC’s of Office Ergonomics”

ACA also encourages SACA members to come up with creative campaigns on campus to promote chiropractic and NCHM.

Hosting free clinics talks, setting up walks for chiropractic care and community service projects are great ways to enlighten people about the benefits of chiropractic care. Help demonstrate the true value of chiropractic this October by showing everyone how to live “TechnoHealthy!”
