Myo Technologies offers non-invasive microcurrent technology to chiropractic community

Chiropractic Economics February 8, 2013

February 8, 2013 — Myo Technologies LLC announced it will expand its services to doctors of chiropractic. It recently introduced Myotonology, marketed as the only U.S. patented microcurrent skin toning treatment and an affordable, non-surgical option for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging.

The treatment complements chiropractic care and expands practice capabilities by offering patients a non-invasive alternative to surgery as part of chiropractic’s overall goal to restore and optimize health.

“Myotonology and chiropractic work as natural partners for patients seeking safer, evidence-based care that fosters greater wellness and overall self-esteem,” says Geoffrey Ring, corporate training director, Myo Technologies LLC, and certified Myotonologist. “A growing number of medical professionals and consumers recognize the benefits of all-natural alternatives to surgery and other aggressive treatments.”

Microcurrent therapy is utilized to treat serious demands and indications such as muscle lifting and toning, skin firming, acne, pigmentation, scars, pre- and post-op healing, cellulite treatments, product ionization, and lymphatic drainage of the face and body.

Ring points to the treatment process as a significant revenue center for chiropractic practices, with a model that delivers affordable care for patients while generating rapid return-on-investment for professionals. This creates opportunities for professionals to extend their capabilities and better serve patient needs.

On-site certified training program, consulting and technical support is offered with the purchase of a Myotone Med unit. Myo Essentials, a complementary line of professional botanical skin care products, offers additional practice enhancements, extending patient loyalty and fulfilling requirements for appropriate follow-up care.

Myotonology training involves an intense, hands-on, six- to eight-hour course designed to familiarize users with the precise techniques of the system. Each participant receives a certificate of completion and the option to take additional advanced training courses.

Currently, the system is being used in multiple sites nationwide. Produced by an FDA-approved U.S. manufacturer, each portable, high quality and easy-to-use Myotone Med unit carries a three-year warranty, free loaner service, and customer support to optimize patient results.

“Myotonology provides chiropractors the opportunity to give clients immediate and profound results, improving circulation, tone and, ultimately, self-esteem,” says Ring. “This treatment is affordable for patients and represents an opportunity to look younger without pursuing a treatment that would be radically invasive or involve shots, anesthesia, healing time or scarring.”
