September 1, 2017—Today, Monica Wofford, businesswoman and accomplished author, filed papers to become the next State Representative from District 32. Wofford will be running to replace term limited Representative Larry Metz.
“We must keep Florida on track for being the number one place in the nation for job growth, education, and prosperity, and do so while being able to maintain our beliefs in faith and family. These and other conservative principles have helped to bring our state out of the recession and conservative principles will keep us out. It will be a privilege to serve as our community’s voice for Conservative values,” Wofford stated.
Monica Wofford has been a celebrated keynote speaker since her first keynote speech to 8600 students in 1989. Since then she’s addressed, coached, and trained more than half a million people, including some of the top Chief Executive Officers in the nation. She’s also held leadership positions in corporate America in sales, customer service, and training.
In 2003, she chose to open her own training and consulting firm and has become known as a leadership development specialist. She has served as a member of the Rollins Leadership Advisory Council of the Crummer School of Business. She has served as Board President of Freedom Ride. She’s provided training to clients such as Microsoft, SeaWorld, Perdue, the FAA, the US Army, and Northrup Grumman. CEO of Contagious Companies, Inc. Monica is one of 350 women in the world to hold the Certified Speaking Professional designation and is most well known for her ability to engage, inform, and transform leaders with her conversational style and guidance.
