Midwest Software, DB Consultants partner to create software suite

Chiropractic Economics August 4, 2011

August 4, 2011 — Midwest Software, developer of Chiro QuickCharts Certified EHR software and DB Consultants, developer of ASPC billing software has announced that they have formed a partnership to develop the next generation of full software suite. The software will contain scheduling, billing, and her, and is scheduled for beta release Jan 1, 2012.

Midwest Software was founded in 2006 and has become a leader in EHR software by offering completely customizable software geared only for chiropractic.

“We are really excited about the project because DB Consultants brings so much experience to the table,” said Midwest Software owner Alex Niswander. “Our strength is in new product development and it will compliment DBC’s excellent customer service track record. Our (chiropractic) market is going to benefit tremendously by the joint offering.”

DB Consultants was founded in 1980 and over the last three decades has provided customers with great product development and exceptional customer support. Because of this, they have become a household name in chiropractic. In 2010, three key employees have stepped into the ownership role and the company is moving ahead at full speed.

When asked why the software suite would rival the competition, Niswander states, “The power of the front office product is going to revolve around the daily transaction screen and how quickly a user can enter charges, post payments, print statements, batch claims. It is essential to be in and out of each record as quick as possible and to have the visit ready to be batched on claims immediately. The power of the back of the house system is in how easy case history is reviewed and how quickly a comprehensive daily soap note can be entered. These parts all come together to form an incredible software offering at under $10,000.”
