Media supports longevity

Chiropractic Economics April 10, 2008

April 10, 2008 — The media is supporting lifetime wellness by focusing on longevity, says Eric Plasker, DC, author of The 100 Year Lifestyle and CEO of The Family Practice.

A high-profile example of media support was a recent television program on longevity hosted by celebrity Barbara Walters. It was entitled, “Live to be a 100; can you do it?”

Plasker said that in May Health and Family Circle magazines will be doing stories that include The 100 Year Lifestyle. In two weeks, the Atlanta Journal Constitution is running a story on longevity in the workforce, with a portion devoted to the book’s message.

Plasker encourages all chiropractors to help their patients deal with longevity.
