Magister Corp purchases NeckPro

Chiropractic Economics August 19, 2010

Chattanooga, TN — Magister Corporation has acquired the patented NeckPro Cervical Traction Device from Gilliam Enterprises. Magister, which had been distributing the product outside of the U.S. since 2006, now will focus on marketing the product domestically as well.

The FDA-registered, over-the-door cervical traction device provides approximately 20 lbs. of cervical traction to significantly reduce neck pain associated with cervical disc herniation, fibromyalgia, neck strain, osteoarthritis, whiplash, pinched nerves, or tension. The product is portable and can be used at home or on the road and is safe and easy to use. The product has been on the market for 8 years.

Magister president David Maley commented, “We are very excited to add NeckPro to our growing line of products for improving health and well-being. We learned a lot about how to market the product while we distributed it internationally but now that we own the product, we see greater opportunity for the product here in the States.”
