Logan University Named '2014 Great College to Work For'

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 25, 2014

07.25.14_Logan_University_logoJuly 25, 2014 — Logan University has been named a 2014 Great College to Work For by The Chronicle of Higher Education.

This is the first time Logan has participated in the program, which salutes academic institutions for specific best practices and policies. Now in its seventh year, the Great Colleges program has become one of the largest and most respected workplace recognition programs in the country.

The survey measures employee satisfaction rates in 12 recognition categories, such as collaborative governance, compensation, and benefits. Ninety-two institutions were recognized as a 2014 Great College to Work For, with Logan specifically honored in the categories of facilities, workplace, and security.

“I am pleased to be affiliated with colleagues who value our institution and truly find Logan an enjoyable place to work,” said Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD, president of Logan University. “We continue to serve our faculty and staff in the best way we can.”

The survey was administered by ModernThink LLC, a strategic human capital consulting firm that has conducted numerous “Best Places to Work” programs, surveying hundreds of thousands of employees nationwide.
