Logan announces Dean’s List students, other awards

Chiropractic Economics November 12, 2013

LoganUniversityNovember 12, 2013 — Logan University held a special ceremony Nov. 5 to honor students who have either earned placement on Dean’s List, received a merit scholarship, or have completed requirements for their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology or Life Science.

Thirty three students were recognized for making the Dean’s List over three consecutive trimesters, and 13 students were honored for achieving this milestone over six consecutive trimesters. In order to be recognized on the Dean’s List, students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average or above while enrolled in a regular, full-time schedule of classes.

Forty five students who are entering the Doctor of Chiropractic degree program received merit scholarships. Logan offers the lowest-priced chiropractic educational program in the U.S., and the merit scholarship program makes the cost of a Logan education an even greater value.

Angela Reeves McCall, PhD, conferred undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Life Sciences on 30 students. “It is an honor for me to award these dedicated students their undergraduate degrees,” she said. “They will go on to serve the human biology and life sciences fields well, and make great strides as healthcare leaders.”
