Barry and Anja Weinberg, a DC and his wife who work together at chiropractic wellness center A Place for Healing in Wilton Manors, Fla., invite the community to help celebrate their thirtieth anniversary in business with an open house on April 13 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., with special guests, hands-on presentations and refreshments at their location at 1732 NE 26th Street. Since 2019, April 11 has been commemorated by mayoral proclamation as “A Place for Healing Day” in Wilton Manors.

Thirty years ago, Barry S. Weinberg, DC, a new graduate from Life Chiropractic University in Atlanta, returned home to South Florida with a vision of a place people could come to heal physically, emotionally, mentally and socially, with the emphasis that all health and healing comes from within the individual.

“Understanding that the human body is an intelligent, self-healing, living being, rather than treating the disease, we treat the person through health-promoting strategies such as chiropractic, specifically NetworkSpinal and Home Wellness Products,” says Weinberg.

Dr. Barry (as he is affectionately known to his clients) specializes in a revolutionary chiropractic technique called NetworkSpinal, a gentle, yet powerful approach to chiropractic that uses gentle touch, breath, body posturing and movement to cue the body, spine and nervous system to release old stresses and traumas; heal wounds, injury and illness; and develop new strategies for self-awareness and self-healing. He works together with his wife, Anja Weinberg, the Wellness Director and Consultant at A Place for Healing.

“It is our goal to provide the most effective, cutting-edge, holistic solutions and strategies for our clients to enjoy the best of their health and well-being for a healthy body, mind and home environment; this will impact people for greater quality of life,” she said.

Barry Weinberg is the author of the best-selling books “A Clear Path to Healing” and “To Face a Dragon.” He is also an accomplished musician and songwriter, most noted for his rock opera, “Samsarana,” as well as for composing the score for a documentary film, “Florida Crackers.”
