LightForce Therapy Lasers announces partnership with Pro Football Legends

Chiropractic Economics December 9, 2015

LightForce_logo-webFormer NFL football players suffering from painful musculoskeletal disorders will now have a new therapy treatment opportunity thanks to recently formed partnership between Pro Football Legends and LightForce Therapy Lasers by LiteCure Medical.

The relationship between Pro Football Legends and LightForce will make advanced laser therapy treatments available to the former NFL players who comprise the NFL Alumni Association.  Brian Pryor, PhD., CEO of LiteCure, comments “LiteCure is very excited about this partnership.  This is a group who is dealing with many injuries from careers in the NFL and we are looking forward to having an impact on their chronic painful conditions.”

LightForce laser therapy is a scientifically proven, drug-free, surgery-free, non-invasive treatment option that reduces pain and accelerates the body’s own natural healing process through photo-bio-stimulation. Treatments are short, lasting only 5-10 minutes, and most patients experience results in 3-5 treatments. Many receiving laser therapy are able to reduce or completely eliminate their need for pharmaceutical drugs.

“We are taking dead-aim at the need for solutions that address the painful musculoskeletal conditions that our players are faced with following their NFL playing career,” said Joe Pisarcik, President and CEO of the NFL Alumni Association. “This technology is a terrific fit and we are proud to announce this new relationship with LightForce. I am receiving LightForce laser treatments and the impact on my pain has been tremendous. We are recommending that all our members consider this therapy and seek practitioners in their area.”

Brian Kelly, MD, had this to say about his experience with laser therapy and the potential benefits former players may experience within this program. “The results we have seen with deep tissue laser therapy in retired athletes proves promising in the treatment of chronic degenerative joint pain, soft tissue dysfunction, and conditions associated to trauma, overuse, and muscular imbalance.” Kelly serves as Head Team Physician for the New York Rangers and an Associate Team Physician for the New York Giants.

Over 100 professional and collegiate teams utilize the LightForce Deep Tissue Therapy Laser to keep their athletes in the game and performing at a high level, including 16 current NFL teams. These teams are using laser therapy to achieve quick and lasting pain relief for acute conditions, chronic ailments, and to accelerate post-surgical recovery.

NFL Alumni members interested in learning more about this partnership should visit their website.
