Gilles LaMarche, DC, Life University’s vice president of university advancement, has been appointed to the Cobb County, Georgia, Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors for 2025.
LaMarche, whose term begins in January, attended the board’s orientation earlier this month.
As a longstanding advocate for education, community development and leadership, LaMarche has a commitment to serving the Cobb County community that aligns with the mission of the Cobb Chamber, noted a Life University press release. His leadership at Life University, where he has worked since 2013, has fostered partnerships that have strengthened local economic, workforce and leadership initiatives.
A doctor of chiropractic who ran a successful high-volume practice for more than 25 years, LaMarche is also an executive coach, speaker and author who has lectured and presented workshops all over the world. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Toronto, received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University. He has served in leadership roles in numerous organizations and received many awards and accolades for his contributions to the community and the chiropractic profession.
