Researchers from Life University’s Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research recently published the third in a series of three articles based on a study of motion and forces of side-posture adjustments performed at Life U.

“Kinematic assessment of hip, shoulder, and elbow movements of a chiropractor performing side posture adjustments: results from a biomechanical analysis” profiles the extremity movements of 10 student volunteers most directly involved in side-posture adjustments, as performed by Linda Mullin Elkins. DC.

The implementation, data analysis, results presentation, writing and journal submission process required teamwork by Brent Russell, MS, DC; Michael Weiner, DC; Ron Hosek, MPH, DC, PhD; Ed Owens and Gabriel Kelly, DC. The authors also wish to acknowledge the editor and staff of the Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics, as well as Jonathan Bryson, DC, Lori Beth Bryson, DC, and Kelly Kang, DC.
