August 22, 2017–LIFE University (LIFE) recently awarded thirteenth-quarter student P. Caleb Edmiston with the Albert Grabovschiner, PhD, Multi Radiance Medical (MRM) Functional Rehabilitation Scholarship.
Since 2013, the annual scholarship has supported deserving chiropractic students in financial need.
“Scholarships have tremendous impact on our students and the University,” LIFE Director of Development Erin Dancer said. “They are a symbol of the vote of confidence our benefactors have in our students and the work we do at the University.”
Edmiston, who discovered his passion for functional medicine while an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee, will spend the 2017 fall quarter working at an externship in functional rehabilitation and physical medicine as part of LIFE’s PEAK program.
Edmiston says the scholarship will help him achieve his career goals as he approaches graduation. “I look forward to practicing in the future, seeing a wide range of patients, and hopefully returning to advance my education even further with a Ph.D.,” he said.
Along with scholarships, MRM has long been a valued corporate partner of chiropractic institutions that fulfill a mission of providing world-class education to qualified students by providing equipment for research and teaching.
“We are always pleased to support the next generation of chiropractors, and we wish Mr. Edmiston the best in his studies and externship as he prepares to start his career,” said Max Kanarsky, MRM President and CEO.
