Kurt Olding, DC, and Don Wisner donate table to NUHS

Chiropractic Economics December 3, 2013

Sunni Olding (DC student); President Joseph Stiefel, DC; and Kurt Olding, DCDecember 3, 2013 — Kurt Olding, DC, and Don Wisner recently donated a new Cox8 Table to National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). Olding is a 1984 graduate of NUHS, and Wisner is the president of Haven Innovation Inc., the manufacturer of the Cox8 Table.

“Dr. James Cox has been a great mentor to me, so I’d like to continue that legacy for the chiropractic students at National University, by giving them greater access to new advances in training within Dr. Cox’s flexion-distraction technique,” says Olding, who has enjoyed a successful practice in Minster, Ohio for more than 28 years.

NUHS has many flexion-distraction tables in both its clinical and educational facilities. The new Cox8 Table is housed in a specially designated treatment room in the NUHS Whole Health Center – Lombard, with a plaque commemorating the gift.

“We are especially grateful to Dr. Olding and Mr. Wisner for this generous gift to our university,” said Joseph Stiefel, DC, president of NUHS.

Stiefel, along with Dean of Clinics, Theodore Johnson, DC, joined with the Olding family and other university employees to commemorate the gift.
