KT elevates sports medicine education with new KT Continuing Education Course Series

KT Continuing Education Course Series introducedKT®, leader in kinesiology tape and sports recovery products, has announced its new e-learning platform, the KT Continuing Education (CE) Course Series.

This expansion highlights KT’s commitment to providing industry-leading products and educating medical professionals on innovative uses of kinesiology tape in various situations and to address multiple patient pain points. In addition to its CE courses, KT Tape offers custom Sports Med kinesiology products to support healthcare professionals.

The KT continuing education courses

The series features five comprehensive training courses lasting one to two hours each. Participants can earn one or two continuing education (CE) credits per course, with pricing ranging from approximately $100 to $150 per class.

KT representatives lead the program with support from Christopher W. Harper, PT, DPT, OCS, a member of the KT Sports Medicine Advisory Board, an esteemed group including sports medicine, physical therapy and chiropractic care experts. This high-quality education offering is tailored for professionals looking to expand their expertise in sports medicine and kinesiology tape application.

The KT continuing education courses include:

  • Course 1: Intro to Kinesiology Tape – Covers the foundational principles of kinesiology tape and its benefits.
  • Course 2: Targeted Taping Techniques – Focuses on specific taping methods for various injuries and pain points.
  • Course 3: Applied Kinesiology Taping for Lymphatic Assist – Explores how kinesiology tape can support lymphatic function and reduce edema.
  • Course 4: Advanced Kinesiology Taping for Muscle Function – Available in May, this course explores the history and taping techniques designed to alter muscle function for improving and supporting optimal movement patterns for performance and recovery.
  • Course 5: Taping for Pain Modulation, Enhancing Proprioception & Biomechanical Influence – Available in July, this course focuses on how kinesiology taping can aid pain modulation and proprioceptive feedback and can be used with other legacy taping strategies.

The KT Continuing Education Course Series features detailed, step-by-step video demonstrations and interactive content to enhance learning. The courses provide comprehensive education, covering everything from foundational principles to advanced practical applications of kinesiology taping techniques. Designed for convenience, the flexible online format allows participants to learn at their own pace, making it easy to fit into busy schedules with on-demand access.

Accredited and available now

KT Health is recognized by the PACE program of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards, allowing most chiropractic community members to earn continuing education credits. Additionally, accreditation has been approved across most physical therapy state boards.
