May 15, 2012 — Kent S. Greenawalt, Foot Levelers’ CEO and chairman of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), was inducted into the Distinguished Fellows of the International Chiropractors Association (FICA). Inductees into the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) must be nominated and elected by the members of the FICA.
The majority of fellows are chiropractors, but persons outside of chiropractic are inducted for significant accomplishments. Dr. Gerry Clum nominated Greenawalt for the substantial contributions he has made to the profession.
“Kent exists in a class by himself,” Dr. Gerry Clum stated. “No one can compare to Kent’s generosity, dedication and passion, which is the basis of the ICA Fellowship award.”
“I am honored from the bottom of my heart to be elected into the distinguished fellows of the ICA,” Greenawalt commented. “My involvement is a labor of love. I’ve witnessed the wonders of chiropractic and feel an absolute passion to let humanity know what chiropractic has to offer.”
Being an ICA fellow, from the perspective of ICA, is the highest recognition of leadership. This honor conveys to recipients an acknowledgement of the dedication and service to the goals, principles, and ideals of the ICA and the chiropractic profession.
Clum concluded, “I specifically nominated Kent for his vision, steadfastness, and generosity in bringing the F4CP into reality and sustaining it over time. ICA is impressed with all his work and wanted to recognize his leadership in the F4CP efforts.”
