The Joint Chiropractic Donates to Life University Research

Chiropractic Economics November 5, 2020

Life University (LIFE) launched “Founder’s Month of Giving for Research” this past September, a 30-day campaign to raise resources and awareness for chiropractic research.

“During the month-long giving campaign, one corporation gave with extraordinary generosity to the cause,” said Life University Vice President of University Advancement Dr. Gilles LaMarche. “The Joint, Corp., had a total gift of $49,475.00. “Life University sincerely appreciates the benevolence and support from The Joint. It is evident that The Joint’s leadership and franchises throughout the country are committed to research for the profession, and we are honored they gave so graciously.”

Mr. Peter D. Holt, president and CEO of The Joint Corp stated: “We at The Joint believe our most important priorities are championing the growth of chiropractic, as well as actively participating in leadership roles within the chiropractic community. We are dedicated to advancing opportunities to grow the profession and support peers who share our passion and commitment to chiropractic. The strong response from The Joint community in donating funds for Life University’s research demonstrates our commitment to partner in furthering the chiropractic movement.”

The Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) at Life University will continue to conduct research of significance on the neurological aspects of chiropractic care. The CCR has designed their lab and research agenda with chiropractic colleagues and patients in mind.

The Founder’s Month of Giving for Research campaign will continue each September. To learn more about the CCR, its research and how you can donate, visit CCR.LIFE.edu.

Life University is a health sciences institution most known for its Doctor of Chiropractic program, the largest single-campus chiropractic program in the world. Three graduate degrees are available, encompassing areas of sport health science, clinical nutrition and positive psychology. Some degree programs are offered to distance learners through the College of Online Education.

LIFE’s campus in Marietta, Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta, is home to more than 2,700 undergraduate, graduate and professional students who come from all 50 United States and more than 45 countries.
