April 22, 2009 — Jarrow Formulas Inc. has donated more than 3,250 bottles of vitamins, including protein, probiotic and antioxidant-rich supplements to the Children’s Institute Inc. (CII), in Los Angeles.
CII is nationally recognized for helping children who are affected by family and community violence, abuse, neglect, and other trauma. For more than a century, the agency has worked to provide families with the support they need to nurture and protect their children. CII has created one of the nation’s strongest models for putting at-risk children on a path toward opportunity and achievement.
With seven service sites, 25 direct service programs, 300 employees, and hundreds of volunteers, CII makes an impact on thousands of young lives in Los Angeles’ most devastated communities.
