Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley joins NCLC 2012 lineup

Chiropractic Economics January 21, 2012

January 21, 2012 — U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) will be one of the notable speakers at the 2012 National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) on Feb. 16 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. Congressman Braley joins keynote speaker Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), high-ranking HHS official Rima Cohen and Howard Wasdin, DC, former Navy SEAL and New York Times bestselling author.

Bruce Braley has represented northeast Iowa in Congress since 2007, and is known for his outspoken advocacy for the middle class and his tireless efforts on behalf of Iowa’s DCs and their patients. In the House, Braley is a member of the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, and is the highest-ranking Democrat on the Veterans’ Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity.

From this position, he has fought for veterans, cosponsoring H.R. 329, the Chiropractic Care Available to All Veterans Act, legislation aimed at ensuring every veteran has full and unimpeded access to the essential health care services provided by doctors of chiropractic.

Make plans to join Rep. Bruce Braley and over 40 organizations from the Chiropractic Summit at the profession’s premier legislative event. Register now!
