Integrative Therapeutics launches Glycation Manager

Chiropractic Economics Staff June 21, 2013

70675June 21, 2013 — Glycation Manager is the newest innovative nutritional supplement in Integrative Therapeutics portfolio of natural therapies.

This formulation was designed to slow the formation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) associated with normal metabolism and aging.*

Glycation is a common enzymatic reaction where simple sugars interact with proteins or fats to produce advanced glycation end-products, or AGEs. While glycation is a normal part of the aging process, hereditary factors, health status, and dietary choices can accelerate AGE accumulation. Reducing glycation can help support glucose metabolism and cellular aging.*

Glycation processes are normal; the problem is we increase these with our lifestyle and food choices,” explains Gaetano Morello, ND. “However, certain dietary ingredients and supplements have been shown to support optimal function by maintaining glycation levels within a more ideal range.”

According to Integrative Therapeutics, Glycation Manager features clinically-studied levels of benfotiamine, a form of thiamine, chromium, and biotin, which has been shown to help support healthy levels of HbA1c and fructosamine, two important indicators of glycation.*+
