September 12, 2014 — It is with great sadness that we note the death of Frank R. Sovinsky, DC, who passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014. Sovinsky was a well-known and much loved figure in chiropractic. His practice in Lodi, California, thrived in the decades of the 1980s and 1990s. In 1997, he moved to Tahoe City and co-founded DC Mentors.
Sovinsky was a highly respected consultant, mentor, trainer, and speaker, enthusiastic about the profession and avid in sharing his insights and knowledge. He exemplified the spirit of strengthening the practice of chiropractic by helping others to succeed in bringing health and vitality to a world in need of care.
In addition to his consultancy work, he authored Life: the Manual and co-authored The E-Myth Chiropractor with Michael Gerber, ensuring that his vision of health, wellness, and entrepreneurial excellence will live beyond him.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Sovinsky, his daughter Chenoa Farrell, granddaughter Farrell Mauthner, and all of those who were fortunate enough to know him personally and professionally.
