Implementation date for ICD-10 pushed back

Chiropractic Economics August 31, 2012

August 31, 2012 — On Aug. 24, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released the final rule delaying ICD-10 implementation until Oct. 1, 2014, which affects doctors of chiropractic.

What does this mean for you and your chiropractic practice?

If you have not already started preparing for the transition, this announcement will supply you with much-needed time to properly prepare your practice. To assist in your preparation, ACA has produced and compiled a variety of resources designed to help ease transitional growing pains.

To learn more about how your practice can be best prepared for the onset of ICD-10, please visit acatoday.org/icd10.
