ChiroHealthUSA and Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association announced a strategic partnership through which Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association has agreed to participate in the ChiroHealthUSA State Association Pledge Program.
In addition to the many benefits for doctors and their patients, ChiroHealthUSA also supports the profession by pledging over 5% of their gross revenues to participating state associations, the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, Congress of Chiropractic State Associations, the Clinical Compass, the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan, ChiroCongress Cares Legacy of Leadership Scholarship, NCMIC Research Foundation, and the World Federation of Chiropractic. They also fund one of the largest chiropractic scholarships in the country, The ChiroHealthUSA Foxworth Family Scholarship.
The Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association is the 47th state to join the ChiroHealthUSA Pledge Program. “Our members count on the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association to partner with brands they trust,” said Julia K. Reyes-Johnson, Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association Executive Secretary. “The addition of ChiroHealthUSA is yet another example of how we are delivering on that promise. ChiroHealthUSA will give more Illinois patients access to affordable chiropractic care, while keeping Illinois chiropractors compliant and profitable.”
ChiroHealthUSA is a provider-owned network, that works in conjunction with a Discount Medical Plan Organization (DMPO) that was designed with doctors in mind. Their network model allows doctors to offer legal network-based discounts to cash, under-insured and “out of network” patients who are members. Patients covered by Medicare and federal programs are eligible for discounts on non-covered services. The network approach to discounts reduces the risks of compliance and OIG violations related to inducements, improper down-coding, dual fee schedules and potentially inappropriate time-of-service discounts. ChiroHealthUSA only makes membership available to individuals, which means there is no potential for “silent PPO” activity to lower your reimbursements. The ChiroHealthUSA membership covers patients and their legal dependents for a small annual fee of $49.00.
“We truly appreciate the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association’s partnership and commitment as we embark on this shared opportunity to leverage the strength of our brands to further serve chiropractors and patients,” said Kristi Hudson, Vice President of Business Relations, at ChiroHealthUSA. “Supporting the profession has been the foundation of our core values since ChiroHealthUSA was established over 16 years ago. This partnership is just another way we are honoring that commitment.”
Founded in 2007, ChiroHealthUSA is a simple, compliant and profitable way for chiropractors to offer affordable care to their patients. As of January 31, 2024, donations back to the profession has surpassed $3.4 million dollars.
The Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association (IPSCA) is a state chartered non-profit professional corporation which was originally founded in 1950.
