Get Fit To Golf USA seeks funding to expand ChiroFit Program worldwide

Chiropractic Economics Staff September 23, 2014

CE_golfSeptember 23, 2014 — Get Fit To Golf USA LLC has begun a campaign through crowd source funding site IndieGoGo to expand and upgrade its ChiroFit Program. The goal is to raise $50,000.

Golfers are always looking for ways to improve their game. Thousands can be spent on lessons and equipment, and they still may end up with injuries and poor performance.

After over 30 years of treating athletes of all abilities, chiropractor Ron Burke developed the ChiroFit Program. It’s a unique online program that focuses on golf biomechanics and injury prevention.

Burke’s practice expanded rapidly as word got out about his detailed program. He started receiving requests from around the world for an easy-to-use, online program that assesses a golfer’s swing, posture, body type, and condition. He adapted his program for the internet community, which pinpoints the physical problem areas and produces an easy-to-follow, personal, tailor-made correctional program.

The program has been beta tested by golf professionals worldwide. Roger Podmore, master instructor, became involved with the project after trying the program on his students.

“For many years I was looking for a simple, quick, and cost-effective way I could help my students pinpoint problems with their golf biomechanics,” Podmore said. “Previously, I was sending my students to sports physicians and physical therapists, both expensive and time consuming. This program has helped me and my students with low-cost and effective solutions.”

Nikki Garret, LET 2006 Rookie of the Year, said, “2006 was my first year on the European Tour, and I became Rookie of the Year. Get Fit To Golf helped me achieve my goals through the ChiroFit Program.”
