July 16, 2010 — Chiropractic software provider, Future Health Inc., and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) recently announced their partnership to make EHR use and practice management easier and more affordable for doctors of chiropractic.
Future Health recently launched a new EHR/practice management software for DCs called Future Health eConnect. The base software is free and will include all the basics for EHR and practice management, including integrated scheduling, documentation, EHR, billing and patient education.
Doctors can then choose to customize their free eConnect base software with affordable Apps for efficiency, specialties, techniques and EHR/ARRA certification, to help DCs become eligible for up to $44,000 in government incentives.
As part of the new partnership, ACA members will automatically receive 10 percent off all Future Health eConnect Apps. The EHR/ARRA Certification App will be available at an even greater discount for ACA members.
The EHR/ARRA Certification App helps DCs use their certified EHR in a meaningful way, a requirement to collect up to $44,000 in government incentives.
“ACA is excited to partner with Future Health on an initiative that stands to significantly benefit the chiropractic profession,” said ACA President Rick A. McMichael, DC. “Future Health eConnect is going to help get an EHR into the hands of more DCs across the country. Participating DCs can, in turn, participate in their state’s Health Information Exchange and help demonstrate chiropractic’s exceptional outcomes via aggregated, de-identified data.”
In addition to ACA member discounts on eConnect Apps, ACA and Future Health are teaming up to jointly develop a specialty coding App to integrate seamlessly with Future Health’s free eConnect base software.
