Fulcrum Health announces 2018 ChiroCare Centers of Excellence

October 12, 2018 — Fulcrum Health, Inc.  announced today that it has added eight Minnesota chiropractic clinics and four Wisconsin clinics to its list of ChiroCare Centers of Excellence for 2018. The clinics join more than 96 locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota that meet stringent standards designed to put patients at the center of the treatment experience.

The Centers of Excellence recognition grew out of the nonprofit’s 2013 National Task Force on Spine Care, which identified the key qualities for clinics that exemplify a value-based, patient-centered approach to advancing the treatment of low-back pain.

“All of the more than 2,900 clinics in our ChiroCare network provide high-quality care, but the Centers of Excellence designation is our way of recognizing those providers who make an extra effort to put patient-centered standards of quality and outcomes at the core of their daily practice. These clinics use record keeping, documented outcomes measures, and collaboration with other health care providers to achieve the Triple Aim in health care,” said Vivi-Ann Fischer, chief clinical officer, Fulcrum. “We want to offer additional recognition to those clinics that have developed well-defined and documented procedures, along with an infrastructure that ensures patients are managed consistently and effectively and that care collaboration is seamless.”

To qualify for ChiroCare Centers of Excellence designation, chiropractic clinics must complete an extensive application and document review process. Clinics must meet criteria that include:

• An evidence-based, best-practice approach,
• Outcome assessments with measurable goals,
• Personalized care plans,
• Active care instructions,
• A team approach to coordinating patient care, and
• High patient satisfaction.

Fulcrum began identifying ChiroCare Centers of Excellence in 2016, and today there are 164 doctors that have received this recognition.
