Foot Levelers supports state associations through $25,000 donation to COCSA

Chiropractic Economics November 15, 2011

November 15, 2011 — Foot Levelers presented the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations (COCSA) with a $25,000 check Nov. 12 in Dallas.

This donation was made in honor of the 43 state associations that participate in Foot Levelers’ Speakers Grant Program. The program supports state organizations by providing a topnotch speaker for their conventions at no charge.

“It matters less where you stand and more the direction you choose to move and we are choosing to move forward…together,” said Dr. Kate Rufolo, president of COCSA. “That was one of the themes of this year’s COCSA convention. Foot Levelers has always been a prime example of this in providing opportunities to support the state associations and COCSA while advancing the knowledge of the field doctors. We are so grateful for this partnership and for the benefits to and for the profession.”

Annually, Foot Levelers donates $1,500 to the state association as well as $500 to COCSA in the name of each state association that is a participant of the Speakers Grant Program. Over the last 10 years, Foot Levelers has donated more than $500,000 to COCSA and the state associations.

“COCSA provides an opportunity for state associations to work together to support our profession and Foot Levelers is proud to contribute to their efforts,” said Kent Greenawalt, Foot Levelers’ president and CEO.
