Foot Levelers raising money for Hurricane Helene relief

Chiropractic Economics Staff October 9, 2024

Hurricane Helene reliefFoot Levelers is spearheading a Hurricane Helene relief effort to help those impacted by the major storm that struck the southern U.S. in late September.

Hurricane Helene decimated several regions across the southern half of the U.S., including major flooding that left many regions unrecognizable and some uninhabitable; it’s estimated the storm caused between $30.5 and $47.5 billion in damage across 16 states. Due to the extreme devastation of one of the deadliest hurricanes in U.S. history, the lives of many people have been changed forever, and they need help now.

“The chiropractic community has repeatedly proven that it is committed to relieving suffering across our country and assisting others in every way possible,” noted a letter from Foot Levelers that went out to supporters of the company, and that the company shared with the staff of Chiropractic Economics magazine. “We know how deeply and profoundly you care for humanity, healing and wholeness.

“Join us in supporting our humanitarian efforts by donating to hurricane relief via the American Red Cross.”

Foot Levelers’ Hurricane Helene relief campaign

As they did in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005 and the deadly Midwest tornado outbreak of 2021, Foot Levelers has started a fund-matching campaign. Every dollar donated to their Hurricane Helene relief fund will be matched by the company penny for penny up to $50,000, with all funds contributed directly to the American Red Cross.
