Foot Levelers, New York Chiropractic College launch educational collaboration

Chiropractic Economics Staff January 13, 2012

January 13, 2012 — New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and Foot Levelers Inc. have formalized a partnership to enhance instruction and advance the science of chiropractic through the development of innovative programs and funded research proposals.

Foot Levelers, a longstanding chiropractic advocate, will contribute in excess of $500,000 to the NYCC over a five-year period as a public demonstration of a shared commitment to academic excellence, quality patient care, and professional leadership.

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Foot Levelers to create this mutually beneficial relationship. We are confident this new partnership will significantly contribute to NYCC’s innovative record in the area of chiropractic education and research,” said NYCC President Dr. Frank Nicchi.

The cooperation between NYCC and Foot Levelers will focus on:

  • Achieving exceptional patient care services
  • Premier health science education
  • Biomedical and health services research
  • Efficiencies in administrative operations

It is a Foot Levelers’ tradition to continually support the chiropractic profession by investing in students and donating thousands of dollars to chiropractic colleges.

“Students are the future of chiropractic and are the ultimate beneficiaries in our decisions to contribute to chiropractic education,” said Kent Greenawalt, president and CEO of Foot Levelers.
