August 6, 2012 — MTBC, a leading healthcare IT company serving providers throughout the country, today hosted a complimentary webinar entitled “Time is Running Out: Learn How to Earn Your Meaningful Use Bonus Before It’s Too Late.” This webinar was delivered by Kash Mehmood, a member of MTBC’s meaningful use coaching team, and is the first of a two-part series aimed at educating and equipping providers to earn Medicare meaningful use bonuses.
MTBC’s combination of knowledgeable coaches and technology is helping providers throughout the country meaningfully use EHRs and earn bonuses. As David Rosenblum, Vice Chairman of MTBC’s Board of Directors, recently explained, “Our proprietary, technology-driven solutions and resources help providers reduce administrative expenses, increase practice revenues and enhance workflows.”
The webinar was part of MTBC’s “October Project,” an educational campaign focused on meaningful use. “October 3, 2012 is an important date because it is the last day that providers can begin their 90-day reporting period under the Medicare EHR Incentive Program,” said Stephen Snyder, MTBC’s President. He further explained, “If providers have not acquired an EHR, mastered its functionality, and fully implemented it by on or before October 3rd, then they will no longer qualify for the full Medicare incentive.”
Meredith PakPour, Director, Clinical Services for Grattan Woodson, MD, recently used MTBC’s meaningful use coaching service, and said, “[t]his was no small task [and was only accomplished with] the very thorough, patient and professional coaching of our MTBC [meaningful use coach, who] walked us through, step-by-step and made the seemingly impossible task possible. I was very impressed with the service we were provided.”
Mr. Mehmood said, “Today’s webinar focused on the ‘core measures’ set forth in CMS’ meaningful use requirements.” He further explained, “The second webinar in this series, which will be delivered on August 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM EST will explore the “menu measures.”
