August 27, 2018—The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) announced that it reached and exceeded its monthly fundraising goal on the second day of the Florida Chiropractic Association’s annual convention (The National) in Orlando. The Foundation passed the $123,000 target in large part thanks to the generous contributions of three major figures in the chiropractic industry. The CEO of Foot Levelers, Kent Greenawalt, pledged to match every dollar up to $50,000. Ray Foxworth, DC, the president of ChiroHealthUSA, pledged to contribute $23,000 once the Foundation reached a total of $100,000. And finally, seeing the target level in sight, Charles DuBois, president of Standard Process, donated $10,000.
All three companies noted have a long record of supporting and sustaining the F4CP, and these contributions were aimed at helping the Foundation’s Planes, Trains, and Automobiles campaign. The goal of this project is to place awareness ads on billboards, railway placards, and in-flight magazines.
This was underscored by the placement of an F4CP billboard near the FCA convention in Orlando. Staff members of the F4CP in attendance reported that a number of conference attendees remarked favorably on having seen it. Through campaigns such as this one, Americans are familiarized with positive messages about chiropractic. According to Sherry McAllister DC, the executive vice president of the F4CP, “Reaching travelers across the country about the benefits of chiropractic care is very exciting. We are grateful to all who are supporting this campaign.”
While the Foundation has reached the FCA conference goal, it is still actively seeking corporations to celebrate with them in this vital awareness campaign. This round of fundraising still has another 30 days to run, “So please do not stop now. Share with your affiliates, partners, employees, friends and family,” McAllister says.
