Emerson Ecologics adds prescription and injectable therapies (RX) to product portfolio

Chiropractic Economics Staff May 23, 2014

Emerson_LogoMay 27, 2014 — Emerson Ecologics LLC, a professional nutritional supplements provider, announced that they have expanded their product portfolio to include prescription oral and injectable medications commonly administered and recommended by integrative healthcare practitioners.

The company has obtained licenses to distribute prescription and injectable therapy products in 42 states. Emerson also confirmed that they will be submitting applications in the remaining states, with the ultimate goal to have all state licensures by the end of 2014.

In addition to obtaining licenses to sell to qualified healthcare practitioners in each state, Emerson Ecologics has made additional upgrades to its Virginia distribution center to accommodate the distribution of such products and to obtain licensing by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.

“We are excited to make the investment in our infrastructure required to distribute prescription and injectable therapies and to satisfy our practitioner requests to provide these products,” Emerson Ecologics CEO Andy Greenawalt said. “We certainly understand the importance these products have for our practitioners and their patients. “

As of today, Emerson carries the brands Heel, BHI, Nature-Throid and WP Thyroid and will be adding additional products to their portfolio over time.
