ChiroTouch announces CTInTouch 1.1

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 11, 2016

July 8th, 2016—ChiroTouch, the nation’s leader in chiropractic software, is pleased to announce the launch of key enhancements to its latest innovative product, CTInTouch.  This powerful patient engagement tool is designed to help chiropractors increase retention rates by allowing chiropractors to communicate with their patients via two-way text messaging and to engage with their patients through targeted communication campaigns.

“Our commitment always has been, and always will be, to help our clients better serve their patients,” said Robert Moberg, CEO of ChiroTouch.  “CTInTouch helps chiropractors communicate with their patients in a way that’s both timely and effective, resulting in better care for patients and higher retention rates for our doctors.”

One of CTInTouch’s new features, two-way text messaging, gives chiropractors the ability to communicate with patients in a one-on-one, ongoing basis using the latest text-to-email and email-to-text conversion technologies.  This patient communication feature was designed using web technologies that allow chiropractors to manage multiple communication streams from their clients using their preferred email program.  For example, when a patient responds to an appointment reminder via SMS, the front desk receives the communication in their email program.  And, when the front desk responds, the patient instantly receives the communication as an SMS alert.

CTInTouch also allows chiropractors and their staff to quickly create customized and targeted patient communication campaigns using a variety of templates that focus on certain patient types.  The campaigns will send personalized messages to patients through email or text, as well as through in-app patient messaging if the practice is also using MyChiroTown, ChiroTouch’s proprietary patient portal app.  Chiropractors will be able to communicate with their patients about missed appointments, birthdays, events, promotions, educational tips, and many other targeted topics.  Automation of these key messages frees chiropractors and their staff to focus on more valuable tasks like improved patient care.

“Our research found that chiropractors rely on appointment reminders as the primary means of communicating with their patients, but there were huge weaknesses with the solutions they were using,” said Kathy Kirkendall, director of product management for ChiroTouch.  “These weaknesses were causing critical breakdowns in the front desk flow.   For example, when a patient responded to an SMS appointment reminder, the front desk was expected to login to a portal to view the patient’s message and respond,” added Kirkendall.  “Due to this extra step, timely communications were frequently missed creating chaos when patients arrived late, or rescheduled, and the front desk wasn’t aware.  CTInTouch eliminates the need to log into a separate portal to view patient messages, allowing front desk staff to quickly communicate with patients.”

ChiroTouch offers two ONC certified EHR chiropractic software systems, one cloud-based and one on premise.  Both systems are designed from the ground up to maximize efficiencies for virtually every process, including patient self-check-in, scheduling, SOAP notes, billing, interoffice communication, and more. ChiroTouch has developed its ICD-10 ready and HIPAA-compliant systems to drastically reduce the time it takes to perform tasks that chiropractors are already doing, thus giving chiropractors more time to see more patients—resulting in increased referrals, improved efficiencies, and a direct, measurable impact on practice profitability.
