ChiroSpring announces addition of custom adjustment techniques and spinal listings

Chiropractic Economics Staff June 11, 2015

chirospringChiroSpring practice management software recently announced the addition of custom adjustment techniques and spinal listings in the latest version of their innovative software.

The inclusion of custom adjustment techniques not only allows doctors to specify exactly how they are adjusting their patients, but also gives them the flexibility to create their own adjustment style in the software.

While ChiroSpring has initially allowed doctors to choose from adjustment techniques such as Activator, Diversified, and more, doctors now have the ability to create additional adjustment techniques, and designate which method was used on a patient-by-patient basis.

Doctors taking advantage of the custom adjustment technique feature can create an unlimited number of adjustment techniques, improving patient documentation and creating flexibility for clinics with multiple doctors utilizing multiple techniques. Default adjustment styles can also be established for adjustments of both the spine and body.

Included in ChiroSpring’s advanced new features is an improved Spinal Listings section that allows doctors to pre-establish complimentary areas of adjustment when a specific spinal adjustment is made. For example, ChiroSpring allows a doctor who prefers to always adjust the T1 right rib after adjusting the T1 left to establish that preference in the “Also Adjust These Areas” section of the software.

So when indicating adjustment of T1 left, the software will also default to adjustment of the T1 right rib, as the doctor indicted. Adding the convenience of pre-establishing this adjustment in the system prevents doctors from repeatedly having to update the same SOAP information.

“Custom adjustment techniques and spinal listings are a direct result of ChiroSpring listening to its doctors and providing functionality to serve their needs,” ChiroSpring CEO Brian Albery said. “Our clinics were looking for the convenience of allowing doctors to indicate their specific adjustment style on an individual patient basis, whether it was one of the standard techniques or something unique to the practice or patient. We’ve worked closely with our doctors to make sure ChiroSpring provides them exactly what they needed. And by allowing doctors to tie multiple adjustment areas together in our Spinal Listings section, we’ve made the process of creating detailed SOAP Notes easier.”
